91mm Ported Throttle Body

This unit features a 91 mm effective bore, an optimized active contour with sonic flow nozzles, and a ported taper and upstream bore with a velocity stack for improved airflow. The throttle body boasts a greater discharge coefficient of the plate/blade interface, a 16 Ra Microinch diamond-polished surface finish, and a shaftless high-pressure side of the blade for a larger Wide Open Throttle (WOT) flow area. It also includes a self-cleaning throat/flow gap, dome and thread-locked screws, and a dimpled shaft trailing edge. Benefits of this throttle body include a lower weight-to-power ratio at part throttle for a more nimble driving experience, linearization and smoothing of the throttle curve for predictable response and crisper shifts, and immediate response right off idling without hesitation. It provides more air and power at every throttle position after idle, which is crucial for starting or expanding power gain modifications. It also fits L83 (5.3L) engines when used with adapter kit P/N SE8223-87-80. For newer trucks and SUVs (2022+), P/N SE9160-91 is recommended.
