91mm Throttle Body

The Soler Performance SE9992-91NE is a premium modified, ported, and calibrated throttle body built upon brand-new OEM parts. It is engineered for LSA or LS9 6.2L V8 engines and also compatible with 5.3L applications. This throttle body boasts several performance-enhancing features, including optimized active contours with sonic flow nozzles, a ported taper and upstream bore with a velocity stack, and a greater discharge coefficient at the plate/blade interface. Its surface is finished to 16 Ra Microinch with a diamond polish for reduced skin friction. The shaftless design on the high-pressure side of the blade increases the WOT Flow Area to an effective 91 mm bore. Additional features include a self-cleaning throat/flow gap and dome and thread-locked screws. Performance benefits include a 16% increase in wide-open throttle flow (1128 +/- 20 SCFM @ 20.4” of water vacuum, compared to OEM's 970 SCFM). Drivers can expect a lower weight-to-power ratio at part throttle for a more nimble driving experience, linearization and smoothing of the throttle curve for predictable response and crisper shifts, and immediate response directly off idle without hesitation or stumble. The unit provides more air/power at every throttle position after idle, which is crucial for modifying power gains. Installation is designed to be easy, typically taking 15 minutes or less. This throttle body does not require tuning and is warranty-safe. It is specifically designed for the following applications: Corvette 6th Gen. ZR1 (2009-2013), Camaro 5th Gen. ZL1 (2012-2015), CTS-V (2009-2015), Escalade (2009-2015), Silverado/Sierra (2009-2013), and Suburban/Yukon (2009-2013). A 1-year warranty is included, with a 3-year extended warranty option available.
