It features optimized active contours with sonic flow nozzles, a ported taper and upstream bore with a velocity stack, and a greater discharge coefficient at the plate/blade interface. The unit boasts a 16 Ra microinch, diamond-polished surface finish, a shaftless high-pressure side of the blade for a larger WOT flow area, and a self-cleaning throat/flow gap. This throttle body offers significant benefits, including a lower weight-to-power ratio at part throttle for a more nimble driving experience, linearization and smoothing of the throttle curve for predictable response and crisper shifts, and immediate response right off idle without hesitation or stumble. It provides more air/power at every throttle position after idle, making it crucial for starting or expanding power gain modifications. This 91mm throttle body is compatible with various 6.2L GM engines, including Corvette C7 (LT1) and C8 (LT2) models (2014-2026), Corvette Z06 (LT4) (2015-2019), Camaro SS (LT1) (2016-Present), Camaro ZL1 (LT4) (2017-Present), Cadillac CTS-V (2016-2019), CT5-V Blackwing (2022+), Silverado/Suburban (2014-2021) with L86, L87, L96 engines, Sierra/Yukon (2014-2021) with L86, L87, L96 engines, and Escalade (2014-2021) with L86 engines. It is an enhanced performance replacement for OEM part numbers 12620263, 12678223, 12713774, and others. Important fitment notes: This throttle body does NOT fit the C8 Grand Sport (LS6).
