Description

The Siemens 172M-10316S is a 2-way ball valve assembly from the 599 Series. It features a 120V, 2-position control, normally closed, fail-safe actuator. This 1-inch valve provides a 200 psi close-off and a 63 Cv rating. It is designed to control hot or chilled water and up to 50% Glycol solution in applications such as convectors, fan coil units, unit conditioners, radiation, and reheat coils. The valve is a full-port design without a flow characterizer insert and includes a stainless steel ball and stem. An operating handle is provided for manual operation during power failures.
