Description

The Flaming River FR1892Q is a quick ratio manual rack and pinion installation kit designed for 1994-2004 Ford Mustangs with non-modular engines (5.0L 1994-1995, V6 1994-2004). This direct bolt-in kit replaces the factory power steering system (rack, pump, pulley, rag joint), reducing vehicle weight by over 30 lbs. It enhances steering responsiveness and feedback, suitable for drag racing and street use. The kit includes a quick ratio manual rack and pinion (FR1508Q), a shaft adapter, two FR1603-L outer tie rod ends, and two FR2001 mounting bushings.
