The Katech KAT-A7251 is a CNC-ported 95mm throttle body based on a new OEM GM LT5 electronic throttle body. This throttle body is a proven airflow upgrade for LT5 applications and a versatile option for LT1, LT4, and LT2 combinations when paired with the proper intake configuration or adapter.

The Katech LT5 95mm CNC Ported Throttle Body is an airflow upgrade designed to enhance performance without sacrificing drivability. It starts with a new OEM GM 95mm LT5 electronic throttle body, which is then precision CNC ported to significantly improve airflow capacity and reduce intake restrictions. This optimization focuses on improving the internal geometry of the existing 95mm casting, rather than increasing its diameter, to achieve better airflow potential while maintaining precise throttle control. This throttle body offers a direct fit for the 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 LT5. For LT1 and LT4 applications, including the Gen 6 Camaro (LT1/LT4), C7 Corvette Stingray/Grand Sport (LT1), C7 Corvette Z06 (LT4), and V3 Cadillac CTS-V (LT4), an adapter is required. It is also commonly used on C8 LT2 Corvette applications when paired with specific aftermarket intake manifolds like the Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold. Calibration requirements vary by application. No calibration is necessary for the C7 Corvette ZR1. Many LT2 applications with specific intake manifolds can operate without additional calibration, but this depends on the complete vehicle setup. Conversions and non-OEM LT5 applications may require ECM calibration, depending on the extent of airflow changes and supporting modifications.
