If you’re K-swapping a 1992–2000 Civic and want it done clean, the Hasport EKK mount kit is the setup you’re looking for. This kit is built specifically for EK Civics running an EG or DC2 subframe, and it puts the K-series engine where it actually works, not just where it fits. The big advantage here is Hasport’s dual-height mount design. That adjustability lets you dial in engine placement for axle alignment, ground clearance, and room for things like headers, intakes, and turbo kits. Because this setup uses an EG or DC2 subframe, steering rack, and lower control arms, the engine sits slightly farther back in the bay. That extra setback helps with radiator and A/C compressor clearance and gives the whole swap a more balanced layout. This is a true bolt-in K-swap mount kit once the correct subframe and suspension parts are in place. There’s no guessing, no stacked spacers, and no fighting parts that almost line up. You get a Civic K-swap that looks intentional and works the way it should when you start driving it hard. As with all Hasport mounts, bushing choice matters. Softer bushings keep things comfortable and quiet. Stiffer bushings lock the engine down tighter but send more noise and vibration into the chassis. Higher durometer means more NVH and more stress on surrounding components, so it’s worth being honest about how street-driven your car really is.
