Show original supplier description

The Oracal 970RA is a multi-layered, high-performance cast PVC wrapping film engineered for full vehicle color changes and custom graphics. Its 4.25-mil construction incorporates a built-in protective clear coat layer, delivering a smooth, paint-like gloss metallic finish without the need for an additional overlaminate. Designed with RapidAir technology, the film features micro-channels in the adhesive that facilitate faster, bubble-free application on complex surfaces, including deep recesses, corrugations, and rivets. The repositionable solvent-based adhesive allows for easier positioning during installation, helping to ensure professional-quality results on hoods, roofs, mirrors, and side panels. This material is suitable for a wide range of surfaces, including automotive, watercraft, and architectural signage. Available in a 60-inch width, it allows for seamless, single-piece panel coverage on most vehicles. The film offers excellent dimensional stability and is rated for up to 10 years of durability, depending on the application environment.
