Show original supplier description
The Oracal 970RA series is a high-performance, multi-layered cast PVC film engineered specifically for professional-grade vehicle wraps. This premium wrap incorporates both color and protective layers into a single construction, providing a durable, gloss metallic gray cast iron aesthetic without the need for an additional overlaminate. The 4.25-mil thickness allows for exceptional conformability, making it suitable for complex automotive surfaces including hoods, roofs, side panels, and deep channels. It adheres reliably to a wide range of non-porous surfaces, including chrome, metal, glass, and plastic trim. The product is rated for long-term exterior use, with a lifespan of up to five years, and is suitable for both full vehicle wraps and custom accents on motorcycles and other transportation graphics. Installation should be performed on clean, non-porous surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion. The film is sold as a custom-manufactured product; due to color variations inherent in digital displays compared to the physical material, professional installers often recommend utilizing a sample swatch prior to ordering full rolls. This wrapping film is intended for solid, opaque color changes on fleet and motorsport vehicles.
