The IM2.5 Suspension Kit offers a 30% weight reduction over a twin-tube steel shock absorber due to its aircraft-grade 6061-T6 Aluminium construction. This provides improved cooling and heat management, allowing the shock absorber to run harder for longer without performance diminishment. It features a CNC ported billet aluminium piston with an O-Ring sealed PTFE-Teflon band for ultimate tuning and softening of small road bumps. The billet aluminium Internal Floating Piston (IFP) utilizes NOK seals and separates high-pressure 200PSI nitrogen gas from Fuchs hydraulic oil. The monotube shock absorber tube has a wall thickness of 3-4mm and is finished with ultra-thick and durable Type 2 anodising for protection. The monotube design allows for 'upside down' mounting, keeping the body high and away from debris, with a 20mm hardened steel piston rod protected by a robust dirt shield.
