The Ironman 4x4 IM2.5 Suspension Kit features aircraft-grade 6061-T6 Aluminum construction for a 30% weight reduction over twin-tube steel shocks and improved cooling (4x thermal conductivity of steel). The Monotube design includes a CNC ported billet aluminum piston with an O-Ring sealed PTFE-Teflon band for precise tuning and a billet aluminum Internal Floating Piston (IFP) with NOK seals separating 200PSI nitrogen gas from Fuchs hydraulic oil. The shock absorber tube has a 3-4mm wall thickness with Type 2 anodizing for protection. The "upside down" mounting keeps the body away from debris, and a 20mm hardened steel piston rod is protected by a dirt shield.
