The Spectra Premium TB1011 is an electronic throttle body engineered to meet Original Equipment (OE) requirements, ensuring reliability and function. Constructed with an aluminum housing and featuring a gray finish, this throttle body has a 6-pin male connector and a 3.875-inch inside diameter. The air intake port measures 98.0000 mm in maximum diameter, and it is specifically designed for fuel injection systems. Notably, this throttle body assembly does not include a gasket or seal. Installation requires performing the OEM recommended idle relearn procedure, which may necessitate an OBD scan tool for some applications, while others may refer to the owner's manual. Clearing all diagnostic trouble codes from the vehicle computer before the relearn procedure is crucial. Additionally, it is recommended to inspect the air cleaner intake hose for cracks and ensure proper sealing, replacing or repairing with multi-purpose sealant if necessary. The harness should be checked for broken wires, and the connector wiggled to reproduce any problems. This throttle body is compatible with select 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado and 2007-2008 Chevrolet Tahoe models. It also fits 05-07 Buick Rainier, 05-06 Chevrolet SSR, 05-06 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT, 05-06 GMC Envoy XL, and 05 GMC Envoy XUV vehicles.
