Holley STS Turbo Universal Remote Mounted Single Turbo Kits are designed to provide boosted power by installing the turbocharger in a remote location, such as in place of the stock muffler or low in the chassis. This design reduces under-hood temperatures and avoids clearance issues. These kits typically allow retention of stock exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, intake manifold, and throttle body. They include the turbocharger, wastegate, wiring harness, air filter, patented oiling system, and necessary mounting flanges. These kits are generally designed for specific engine displacement ranges (e.g., 5.0-6.0 liter engines) and can support a target horsepower (e.g., up to 620 crankshaft HP). The remote mounting also provides a distinctive performance sound. Exhaust tubing, air intake tubing, and blow-off valves are typically not included.
