Description

The Remflex 2048 is a header exhaust manifold gasket designed for specific GM applications. It features a 1.5-inch port size and is intended for use with 'raised' weld bead headers, offering additional sealing material around the weld bead for an improved seal.

This gasket is constructed from 100 percent flexible graphite, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 3,000 degrees F. It includes a built-in 50% crush allowance, allowing it to fill voids on warped header flanges and exhaust manifolds. The recommended torque setting is 20 ft-lbs.
