Description

This housing kit replaces the stock GM 7.5" rear-end with a stronger Ford 9" style in 1978-88 GM intermediate chassis. Kit includes a fabricated center section, axle tubes with large bearing late Ford/Torino style-ends, and 31-spline axles with bearings and seals installed. Axles are drilled for studs with 5 on 4-1/2" or 5 on 4-3/4" bolt circles. Available in 58" and 60" axle flange to axle flange widths. This kit is 58" wide and includes two unequal length axles, centering the pinion approximately in the stock location.
