Description

The Dobinsons Snatch Strap is a heavy-duty recovery tool engineered for off-road vehicles, boasting an 8,000kg capacity. This stored energy is then utilized to assist in pulling a stuck vehicle free. Constructed with durability in mind, the strap incorporates a sliding protective sleeve to guard against cuts and premature wear, ensuring its readiness for demanding situations. For optimal longevity, Dobinsons recommends cleaning the strap with water only after each use to prevent abrasive dust and dirt from shortening its lifespan. The recommended cleaning method involves hosing it down with fresh water or rinsing it in a large bucket with frequently changed water. An important advisory for safe recovery operations is noted: the minimum breaking strength of the strap should ideally be between two and three times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of the vehicle. The strap used must be suitable for the GVM of the lighter of the two vehicles involved in the recovery process. This strap is manufactured in the United States.
