Clevite H-series bearings were developed primarily for NASCAR type racing, but are suitable for all type of competition engines. These bearings have a medium level of eccentricity, high crush and a hardened steel back with thin overlay. The bearings also come with enlarged chamfers for greater crankshaft fillet clearance and are made without flash plating for better seating. Since the first patent on the cast, copper and lead composition decades ago, Clevite TriMetal engine bearings have been the industries standard. IMPORTANT: These bearings require aftermarket connecting rods (e.g., Callies, Carrillo) and will NOT fit stock or stock-style connecting rods. Tangs are on opposite sides.
