Clevite Tri-Metal P-Series Rod Bearings are high-performance engine bearings built on hardened-steel backings with extra-thin overlays. They offer significantly greater seizure resistance (up to 35%) and load capacity (over 50% higher) compared to bi-metal bearings. The overlay provides a more forgiving surface, protecting the engine. These bearings exceed OE durability requirements for both light (150,000 miles) and heavy (300,000 miles) vehicles. Clevite maintains wall sizes to within 0.0005 inches for Tri-Metal bearings.
