The Fujitsubo A-R exhaust system is engineered for the ZVW30 Toyota Prius 1.8 2WD G's, specifically for the S Touring Selection and G's trims, model years 2011.12 to 2015.12, with the 2ZR-FXE engine. This system prioritizes sound and performance, offering an 'athlete sports spec'. It boasts a pipe diameter of 45.0φ and a φ90.0 round O-straight tailtip, with an option for a BG (burnt gradation color) tail at an additional cost. Compared to the standard system, the Fujitsubo A-R is significantly lighter, weighing 3.9kg versus the stock 5.2kg. This weight reduction, combined with an improved flow, contributes to enhanced performance figures. The peak power is increased from 101.5kW (138.1ps) at 4790rpm to 105.4kW (143.3ps) at 5020rpm, and peak torque sees a slight increase as well. The acceleration from 40km/h to 100km/h in D-mode is improved from 2.5 seconds to 2.4 seconds. The exhaust noise levels are carefully managed to comply with regulations while offering a sportier tone. Idling noise is measured at 63dB, and proximity noise at 3900rpm is 80dB.
