The VIS Racing A Spec Style carbon fiber hood is designed for the Audi TT 2DR from 2007 to 2014. It is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss.

The hood features a two-part construction with a smooth, one-piece underside shell for enhanced structural integrity. VIS Racing has also implemented a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for some parts, resulting in lighter and more durable components.

The VIS Racing A Spec Style carbon fiber hood is meticulously crafted for the 2007-2014 Audi TT 2DR models. This hood is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material. The top layer is bonded to the hood surface using a high-grade epoxy resin, and then finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating (Poly Shield) that provides a high gloss finish. A key feature of this hood's construction is its two-part design. The underside is a smooth, one-piece shell that is fused to the top layer, significantly enhancing the product's structural integrity. The edges are hand-smoothed to ensure a quality finish all around. VIS Racing has further refined its manufacturing process with the introduction of the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.). This advanced technique utilizes a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter than previous methods while also improving durability. The company is transitioning its full range of carbon fiber parts to the VIP process to offer these benefits without a substantial cost increase. This hood is specifically designed for the Audi TT 2DR model years 2007 through 2014.
