The VIOFO A119 V3 dash cam is equipped with a Sony STARVIS CMOS 5MP IMX335 image sensor and an F1.6 aperture lens with a 140° field of view, enabling it to capture crisp 2K Quad HD+ video at 30fps. It supports HDR for balanced exposure in various lighting conditions, including clear night footage. The built-in GPS logger records location data, and the dash cam operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 65°C. For enhanced functionality, the A119 V3 supports buffered parking mode with automatic event detection, time-lapse, and low-bitrate recording. These features require a compatible hardwire kit, such as the VIOFO Mini HK3 ACC Hardwire Cable, which is sold separately and offers adjustable low-voltage protection to prevent battery drain. Optional accessories like the CPL-100 filter can reduce windshield glare and reflections, while industrial-grade microSD cards up to 256GB are recommended for optimal performance and durability.
