A1255-37 W/RD CALP

This kit converts 1968-1981 GM F-body and X-body vehicles with a 10/12 bolt rear end from drum brakes to disc brakes. It's a direct bolt-on installation on the stock axle, providing improved performance and durability. Features include zinc-plated, single-piston cast iron calipers with built-in parking brakes, DOT Flex Hoses, axle shims, new hard lines, semi-metallic brake pads (D347), caliper dust boots, stainless steel shim washers, two 10.5-inch heavy-duty vented rotors, e-coated mounting brackets, stainless steel spacers, hardware with parking brake cable adapters, and instructions. The upgraded calipers offer modern braking in a compact design with chrome steel pistons and a sealed internal parking brake. It reuses the factory parking brake cable. SSBC claims up to 30% more braking power. The kit generally works with most 14-inch rims; consulting the wheel fitment diagram is recommended.
