This direct bolt-on kit converts 1978-1988 GM 'G' body vehicles from drum to disc brakes, offering up to 30% more stopping power. It includes single-piston cast iron calipers with a zinc-plated finish (black for A127BK) and integrated parking brakes, DOT-compliant flexible hoses, new hard lines, axle shims, semi-metallic D347 brake pads, and two 11.25-inch vented rotors. The kit comes with e-coated mounting brackets, stainless steel spacers, and all necessary hardware, including parking brake cable adapters, allowing reuse of the factory cable. Designed for vehicles at stock ride height, it is not suitable for GNX models. Compatible with most 15-inch rims (wheel fitment diagram consultation recommended). No modifications are required for installation.
