The Curt 16056 A16 Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch is a discontinued carbon steel hitch with a carbide black powder coat finish. It features a single-throw handle, a patented head design with a cast yoke and poly-torsion inserts for shock suppression and noise reduction, and interlocking jaws that fully wrap the kingpin. The extra-wide head opening facilitates easier coupling, and a three-position coupling indicator is visible from the truck cab. It includes the CURT S20 slider and an OEM puck system 5th wheel slider adapter, providing 12 inches of travel for turns in short-bed trucks. The hitch also utilizes a quarter-turn anchoring system for quick installation/removal and adjustable anchors to eliminate chucking.
