The CURT A20™ Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch (16531) is a universal-fit towing product with a 20,000 lb. gross trailer weight (GTW) and 5,000 lb. vertical load capacity. It features a patented cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts for shock absorption and noise reduction, and a fully articulating torsion head with high-strength, interlocking jaws for stable towing. Designed for short-bed trucks, the S20™ slider provides 12 inches of rearward travel for improved maneuverability. It mounts to all industry-standard base rails (sold separately with a bracket kit). The hitch has a lockable, single-throw handle that self-resets, a three-position coupling indicator, and automatically latches in both directions. It offers three height adjustment positions and includes a polyethylene lube plate. The Curt A20 is protected by a carbide powder coat finish and comes with a limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts). It is tested in accordance with SAE J2638 and is compatible with kingpin extension boxes.
