A229 Plus 2K Dual Channel Dash Camera System

The Viofo A229 Plus is a dual-channel dash camera system engineered with high-performance Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 5MP sensors for both front and rear, delivering 2K (2560x1440P) resolution at 30fps. The integration of HDR on both channels ensures balanced exposure and clarity during both day and night recording. The camera includes a 2.4-inch high-resolution LCD screen and supports dual-band 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi for quick file transfers and app connectivity. For parking surveillance, the system supports three distinct modes: buffered auto event detection, time-lapse, and low bitrate recording. Please note that parking mode features require a separately purchased hardwire kit, such as the Viofo HK4 or HK6. The system uses a supercapacitor power source for reliable operation in varied temperatures. Note that the included GPS module is not compatible with the GPS module used for the A229 DUO, and CPL filters (CPL-200 for front, CPL-300 for rear) are sold separately. Installation requires an industrial-grade, high-endurance microSD card, as standard memory cards may not withstand the intensive write cycles of a continuous recording dash cam. The system also supports advanced driver-friendly features like voice control and integrated quad-mode GPS (GPS, Beidou, Galileo, Glonass) for accurate location, speed, and time data logging.
