A3 (8P) 2.0T FMIC Kit

The CTS A3 (8P) 2.0T Direct Fit FMIC Kit is engineered as a direct bolt-in replacement for your vehicle's stock front-mounted intercooler (FMIC). Unlike the OEM intercooler, which is sufficient for stock boost levels, this upgraded kit is essential when increasing boost via ECU tuning. Higher boost levels can lead to elevated charged air temperatures, causing issues like boost cut and timing pull, which ultimately reduce power output. A lower pressure drop means your turbo doesn't have to work as hard to achieve desired boost levels, extending turbo life and ensuring cooler, denser air enters the engine for maximum power. The end tanks are constructed from cast aluminum for durability and performance.
