It features a triple disc design and provides 139 square inches of clutch area, which is 66% greater than factory specifications. The impeller and turbine are furnace brazed and TIG welded for superior strength and longevity. This unit is equipped with Torrington bearings and comes with a 2-year warranty. This converter is explicitly noted as not for competition use; for racing applications, Diesel Performance Converters recommends their Triple Disc with Billet Stator. It is designed for 2001-2016 Chevrolet 2500 HD, Chevrolet 3500 HD, GMC Sierra 2500 HD, and GMC Sierra 3500 HD models.
