The TruFiber A49-3 Hood is a carbon fiber hood designed for the 1999-2004 Ford Mustang V6 and GT models. It features a vacuum-infused real carbon fiber construction with a 3K, 2x2 twill weave and a show-quality finish.

This hood includes a clear coat with UV protection and a smooth black gel coat on the bottom side. It is a fully functional heat extractor, with hot air exiting from the rear openings. The design also incorporates reinforced metal latch and hinge plates for added safety, an integrated stainless mesh grille, and a pre-drilled prop hole.
