Show original supplier description
The TruFiber A53KR Hood is a performance and aesthetic upgrade for the Ford Mustang, designed to replicate the aggressive look of the GT500 KR model. Constructed from hand-laid fiberglass with a show-quality finish, it features a smooth gel coat on both top and bottom sides and reinforced metal for the latch and hinge plate, enhancing safety. This hood incorporates a fully functional ram air kit that captures cool air through an open front scoop and directs it to the OEM air box. Additionally, it includes fully functional heat extractors with two open vents to release hot air. It comes with integrated stainless mesh grilles and a pre-drilled prop hole. The TruFiber A53KR Hood is manufactured to OEM specifications and comes with a TruFit Guaranteed Fitment, meaning the product will fit correctly or be replaced free of charge. Hood pins are required for all aftermarket hoods for safety purposes. This hood is compatible with various Ford Mustang models and years, including the GT500 from 2007-2014, and the GT and V6 models from 2010-2014. It is specifically noted to fit 2010-2013 Ford Mustang models. Professional installation is recommended for this product.
