Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2162C-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly built for the specific needs of 2004-2008 Chrysler and Dodge Ram 3500 4WD dual rear wheel (DRW) trucks. This unit is engineered with a 3.73 gear ratio and a Posi (limited-slip) differential for enhanced traction. It is important to note that this axle assembly excludes Cab-Chassis models from 2007-2008. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings undergo testing for surface wear and cracks. Internals, including Ring & Pinion gears, clutch packs, and carriers, are 100% inspected. Zumbrota Drivetrain replaces all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The housings are cleaned using a hydro blasting process to restore them to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established using precision measurements for optimal setup and longevity.
