Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain AAM 11.5" Axle Assembly is a remanufactured differential designed for 2004-2005 Dodge Ram 3500 models equipped with dual rear wheels. This assembly boasts a 4.10 gear ratio and utilizes an AAM 11.5-inch ring gear. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internals, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutch, and carrier, are subjected to 100% inspection. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced with new components. The housing is then cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore its OEM finish, and the correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precision setup and longevity. Important notes for installation and compatibility: This assembly is for 2WD vehicles and does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
