The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2159D-P is a remanufactured AAM 11.5-inch axle assembly designed for select 2004-2007 Dodge Ram trucks. This unit is equipped with a Posi Limited Slip Differential, offering enhanced traction, and a 4.10 gear ratio for optimal performance. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to high standards, undergoing thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. Crucially, all bearings and seals are replaced with new ones. The gears are carefully examined for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque specifications using inch-pound measurements to ensure longevity and quiet operation. Backlash is set correctly for proper gear lubrication and performance. This assembly features an 11.5-inch ring gear size, a full-floating axle type, and includes the differential cover. It also comes with a pinion yoke damper. The unit is specifically designed for 2004-2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab, 2500, and SRW 3500 4WD models.
