Description

The Standard Ignition ALS3273 is an ABS speed sensor designed to supply information about wheel movement to the ABS computer. This sensor is typically located at the wheel hub or rotor on vehicles with 4-wheel disc brakes. It can also be found mounted on the differential housing in rear drum applications.

When the ABS computer detects unequal wheel speeds during braking, indicating potential wheel lockup, it uses the data from these sensors to modulate the anti-lock feature and maintain equal wheel speeds. It features two terminals.
