Description

The NGK VB0040 is a vehicle speed sensor. It measures transmission/transaxle output or wheel speed to provide data to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). This information is used to modify ignition timing, AF ratio, transmission shift points, and initiate diagnostic routines. It may also serve as an ABS wheel speed sensor, transmission speed sensor, or transfer case output shaft sensor depending on the application.
