This device works by plugging directly between the accelerator pedal and the Engine Control Unit (ECU). It continuously measures and converts the digital signal from the pedal, providing the Electronic Control Module (ECM) with a new, altered signal. This process bypasses potential delays caused by factory tuning, stability control, or traction control systems, which can often lead to a lag in throttle response. The Sprint Booster improves overall acceleration by increasing pedal input sensitivity and delivering more impressive off-the-line performance. It does not alter the vehicle's fuel or ignition systems, making it a simple plug-and-play modification. This device provides instant response throughout the entire power band, enhancing the driving experience by making acceleration and rev-matching more engaging. This V3 model features three distinct acceleration modes, offering 36 different acceleration programs (18 for manual transmissions and 18 for automatic transmissions). It also includes a Pedal Lock mode, which deactivates the vehicle's acceleration ability via a three-digit PIN when stationary, and a Valet mode that limits acceleration by 55%, 65%, or 75% across three selectable levels. The unit boasts an ultra-compact size with a new design and utilizes up to three microprocessors. Installation is straightforward via a plug-and-play connection.
