The Hybrid Racing Accord/Acura TL Complete Shifter Upgrade is engineered for drivers seeking the ultimate shifting performance in their 6-6 Accord and TL vehicles. The V6-specific shifter cables are a direct replacement for stock OEM units, offering significant improvements. They utilize solid rod ends, a permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, and aluminum end links to provide a firmer, tighter feel. This results in fewer missed shifts and a more connected driving experience. The cables also feature 30% thicker cores, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes, replacing the weaker plastic components found in OEM cables. This kit is designed for direct fitment with specific OEM part numbers, including 54310-SDP-L02 (04-06 TL MT / 03-07 Accord V6 MT) and 54310-SEP-L01 (07-08 TL Type-S MT). For vehicles originally equipped with an automatic shifter, modification will be required; the factory auto shifter cable bracket welded inside the shift tunnel will need to be cut off. The installation process is otherwise straightforward for manual transmission chassis. The shifter portion of the upgrade is compatible with K-Series transmissions from the 06-11 Civic Si (K20Z3) and 07-11 JDM Civic Type R (FD2 K20A). The broader Hybrid Racing K Swap Bolt-In Short Shifter is compatible with the following chassis: 1988-1991 Honda CRX, 1988-2000 Honda Civic, 1992-1997 Honda Del Sol, and 1989-2001 Acura Integra.
