The Attwood 9963-1 is a slip ring penetrating anchor designed for marine use. It features a slip-ring shank for easy retrieval if the anchor becomes snagged. The anchor is constructed from hot-dip galvanized steel, providing corrosion resistance and durability. Its assembly is arc-welded steel, ensuring consistent fluke-to-shank angles for quick penetration and a firm hold. The pivoting flukes rotate downward into the bottom, allowing it to dig into sand, mud, or gravel.
