The ACL 8B8091-STD is a set of standard-size high-performance connecting rod bearings designed for Lexus and Toyota V8 engines. They feature a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties, hardened steel backs for better lining support and retention, and increased crush for enhanced bearing retention. The design also includes the elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip, increased eccentricity to manage bore distortion and oil film formation, tight wall tolerances for consistent clearances, and enlarged ID chamfers for performance crankshafts.
