The ACL 5M8297-STD is a standard size main bearing set designed for Subaru EJ18, EJ20, EJ22, and EJ25 engines. It features a high-strength overlay plate for improved fatigue resistance and hardened steel backs for enhanced support and retention.

The bearing set includes features like increased crush for better retention, removal of flash plating to boost heat transfer, and enlarged ID chamfers to accommodate larger fillet radii on performance crankshafts. It also offers a 3/4 grooved design for optimized load carrying surface area and oil flow.
