Overview

The ACL 6B1486P-STD is a standard size rod bearing set designed for performance engines. It features a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties and hardened steel backs for enhanced support and retention. These bearings offer increased crush for better retention and eliminate flash plating on the back to improve heat transfer and grip.

Additional features include increased eccentricity to help form hydrodynamic oil films, 3/4 grooved main bearings for optimized oil flow, tight and consistent wall tolerances for precise clearances, and enlarged ID chamfers to accommodate performance crankshafts.
