ACL Performance Race Series main bearing sets deliver everything performance bearings should be by utilizing design, metallurgy, engineering, precision quality control, and of course, years of knowledge and experience. Main bearings feature multi-layered tri-metal copper alloy construction that blends characteristics to provide high strength and excellent seizure resistance. They are manufactured to exact tolerances ensuring a reliable fit and helping to maintain consistent clearances. Main bearings are augmented with extended grooves, as well as other bearing enhancements, like increased crush, bearing eccentricity, and enlarged I.D. chamfers. ACL Performance Race Series main bearing sets are produced in standard and extra clearance versions, with or without friction reducer coating, and with modifications to meet specific build requirements, such as narrowed bearings that permit additional edge clearance when running crankshafts with exceptionally large fillet radii.
