Description
Key features include a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties, hardened steel backs for enhanced support and retention, and increased crush for better bearing retention. The bearings also incorporate increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPMs and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films. Additionally, they have enlarged ID chamfers to accommodate large fillet radii on performance crankshafts.
