The Action Clutch ACR-3306-3D is a 7.25-inch triple disc race kit clutch engineered for high-performance applications, specifically for the 2018-2021 Honda Accord 2.0L (K20C4) Turbo. This kit is designed to handle extreme conditions and is a choice for drag cars achieving 7-second times. The clutch features three 7.25-inch sintered metallic race discs, formulated in the USA, providing superior heat capacity and a smoother engagement compared to other discs. The cover is constructed from a ventilated 6061-T6 billet aluminum, reducing overall weight and enhancing throttle response. It is paired with high-strength steel pressure and floater plates, delivering significant clamping force without a proportional increase in pedal effort. A disclaimer is provided regarding the use of unsprung clutch discs on daily/street-driven vehicles, warning that this can lead to premature wear or damage to the clutch disc hub due to the lack of cushioning and comfort. Proper break-in is crucial for this clutch, requiring 100 street miles with RPMs kept under 4500, no more than half throttle, and no boost if applicable. Adhering to these break-in procedures is necessary to maintain the product warranty, ensure longevity, and achieve the intended holding capacity.
