ACT 06-25 Subaru WRX XT/Race Rigid 6 Pad Clutch Kit

The SB12-XTG6 kit features an Xtreme pressure plate designed for demanding drivers. ACT Xtreme pressure plates incorporate an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life. All diaphragms undergo a four-stage, heat-treating process for optimal performance. These pressure plates also have precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency. The kit includes a 6-pad spring-centered race disc with spring-center construction to effectively damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers feature wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings for improved spring support, reduced stress concentrations, and increased strength and reliability. While engagement is harsher with the 6-pad spring-centered disc, shifting is faster. This disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to better absorb heat.
