ACT 08-13 BMW 128i (E82/E88) L6-3.0L (N51/N52) HD/Race Sprung 6 Pad Clutch Kit

The BM15-HDG6 kit features ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Diaphragms undergo a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance, and pressure plates have precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency. The 6-pad, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center to damp torsional vibrations and resist failure. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings for spring support, reduced stress concentrations, and increased strength. This kit offers harsher engagement but faster shifting and is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat. It provides light to moderate pedal effort, aggressive engagement, and OE to mild gear rattle with moderate friction life, extended by ACT's exclusive diaphragm design. Carefully engineered, precisely assembled, accurately balanced, and uses select ceramic friction materials for high heat tolerance and maximum performance. Recommended for high horsepower street or race use. 100% clamp load tested and dynamically computer balanced for smooth high RPM reliability. Must be used with an ACT flywheel (not included). Pressure plate bolts (M8-1.25 x 20mm) are included.
