The Advanced Clutch XT/Race Sprung 6 Pad Kit (DN3-XTG6) features an Xtreme pressure plate designed for demanding drivers. ACT Xtreme pressure plates incorporate an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Diaphragms undergo a four-stage, heat-treating process for optimal performance. These pressure plates also have precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency. The 6-pad spring-centered race disc includes a spring-center construction to dampen torsional vibrations and resist failure in harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings for spring support, reduced stress concentrations, and increased strength and reliability. This 6-pad spring-centered disc offers harsher engagement but faster shifting, and is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
