ACT Acura/Honda J35 HD/Race Sprung 6 Pad Clutch Kit

The ACT HD/Race Sprung 6 Pad Kit (AT3-HDG6) features ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with an exclusive diaphragm for increased clamp load, reduced deflection, and maximized clutch life. The diaphragms are four-stage heat-treated for performance. Pressure plates have precision cover stampings for rigidity. The kit includes a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc that dampens torsional vibrations and resists failure. ACT spring retainers use wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings for spring support and increased strength. This 6-pad, spring-centered disc provides harsher engagement but faster shifting and is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat, suitable for high horsepower street or race use.

Light to moderate pedal effort, aggressive engagement, OE to mild gear rattle. Moderate friction life, extended by ACT's exclusive diaphragm design.
