Description

Hydraulic surge brake actuator for trailers with hydraulic drum brakes. Rated for 12,500 lbs GTW and 1,250 lbs max tongue weight. Ships unassembled for weld-on installation. Features a 12-inch adjustable channel with five mounting positions for various coupler attachments (sold separately). Automatically applies trailer brakes when the tow vehicle slows. Durable composite (glass-reinforced nylon) master cylinder resists rust and corrosion, with a large fluid reservoir and automotive-style diaphragm cap. Includes a built-in breakaway lever with safety cable.
