ACT Extreme Race Clutch Kit with Four-Pad Spring-Centered

The ACT SB8-XTG4 is an Extreme Race clutch kit engineered for high horsepower street or race applications. It features an Xtreme pressure plate with an exclusive diaphragm design that significantly increases clamp load, reduces deflection, and maximizes clutch life. The pressure plate undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance and precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency. The kit includes a four-pad spring-centered race disc constructed to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure. This design offers harsher engagement and faster shifting, making it well-suited for smaller disc sizes in smaller engines. The disc is made with select ceramic friction materials, providing high heat tolerance and maximum performance. ACT clutch assemblies are computer spin balanced to within .25 oz-in for smooth high RPM reliability, exceeding OEM balancing standards. The ACT SB8-XTG4 kit comes complete with an ACT Prolite flywheel, flywheel bolts (M10-1.0 x 25mm), and pressure plate bolts (M8-1.25 x 16mm). The clutch offers moderate to heavy pedal effort and aggressive engagement, with OE to mild gear rattle. It is backed by a 12-month warranty.
